The melons I got from this plant were NOT pear shaped like the picture indicates. Instead they were more like a bowling ball. The skin is very dark green with bright yellow spots. At the very least it is interesting. I found the flesh to be sweet and juicy. They are smaller then the standard watermellon. For me, the “ripe” product was somewhat anemic in color AND flavor.
