I will only buy bread that is whole wheat and I always read the ingredients. If the first ingredient is 100% whole wheat, then I will buy it, but what’s the difference between 100% whole wheat and cracked wheat. They all taste the same. Thanks.

cracked wheat is cracked
Whole-wheat or 100% wheat can be misleading. It only means that it has nothing but wheat, it still does not guarantee that it has all the parts of the wheat berry.
Whole-grain wheat or Whole-meal wheat is what you want to ensure that al the wheat nutrients are available. Cracked wheat is whole-grain wheat that has been sheared but not ground to form flour. It just gives you a different chewy texture.
Always look at label it should say two things
1. No Trans-fats
2. Whole-grain
